is a family-owned business and our family has been a part of the Southeast
Idaho Community for over 30 years. We feel
a responsibility to our community in regard to social, economic and
environmental issues and we operate our business as such.
We are a passionate advocate for reading at all ages. There has been a decline in children’s verbal skills and reading rates in the United States for quite some time. In addition to the decline in children’s reading and communication skills, funding for literacy in the United States is declining per student as well every year.
This comes at a time when communication skills remain highly sought after in the global economy.
mukruk donates several tons of books within local communities every year. A section of our store at 540 2nd ST in Idaho Falls, ID is set up as a bookstore for children. There are hundreds of children’s books on display for children to choose from, they are all given away to children that want them and families that need them at no cost.
If you’d like to learn more about our efforts to help get more books into the hands of children and families who need them please visit the link below.
Serving Those in Need
Within the day-to-day operations of our liquidation business, we routinely come across inventory that we choose not to sell. These are items that do not meet the quality standards we have set for our auction platform and would be better suited for a yard sale type environment.
We donate many tons of merchandise every year to local thrift stores such as Deseret Industries, Idaho Youth Ranch, Goodwill and other local charities.
If you are in need of items such as clothing, basic household items or any other living essentials for yourself or your non-profit organization please contact us at email@example.com.
Our warehouse in Shelley, ID is heated during the winter months with recycled waste oil that is provided by local mechanics. This ensures the used petroleum products are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and also reduces the risk of spills and contamination through traditional disposal methods.
We donate multiple tons of useable merchandise each year to local non-profit groups and charities. The material we donate has the potential to end up in a landfill due to the perceived lack of value by most people. Our donations help reduce the amount of waste that is sent to the landfill.
